Good morning, children!
Today I will teach you the days of the week!
We use them all the time, but now you have to study them by heart. This is what you must do:
- Watch the video and learn the song;
- Write the date, the weather and the title (Days of the week) on your exercise book, then copy the days in bold and colour them;
- Make some cards with the days of the week on them, to play a game;
- Make other cards with pictures of food and write their names:
- ( rice 🍚, salad 🌿, soup 🍜 , chicken 🍗, meat 🍖,
- fish 🐟 and fruit🍉🍒🍐);
- Play a game where you pick a day card and a food card and say:
ON MONDAY I EAT CHICKEN/ON TUESDAY I EAT MEAT/ON WEDNESDAY I EAT SALAD... and so on.
(These are examples! You must say sentences depending on the cards you pick...)
In the mean time, continue to watch the videos I posted last Friday and keep reviewing!
P.S.: in English, the days of the week ALWAYS need the capital letter, please rember this, children!
LUNEDÌ → MONDAY
MARTEDÌ → TUESDAY
MERCOLEDÌ → WEDNESDAY
GIOVEDÌ → THURSDAY
VENERDÌ → FRIDAY
SABATO → SATURDAY
DOMENICA →SUNDAY
It's not uncommon that English people start their week on a Sunday: for them, Sunday is the first day of the week! Funny? Maybe so...
Have a nice rainy day!

Buon lavoro!
M.a Stefania
